The Coventry Public Schools will prepare every student for life, learning and work in the 21st century.
What do you like about your child's school? What can we do to make it better? We need your help!
Please complete this survey based on your experience with the school where your child is currently enrolled. You will be asked to complete a separate survey for each child in your family attending the Coventry Public Schools. Please answer the questions honestly as your feedback is important to us.
This survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School website! Whether this is your first time visiting our site or you are a returning user, we would like to welcome you as you learn more about our school, its academic programming and all the extracurricular offerings we have for our students.
Middle school is a time of change. The workloads and social adjustments are greater here than at the elementary level. The school building itself is larger, and instead of having one or two teachers, students may have a separate instructor, and classroom, for each subject.
Parents, please take time to review your child’s grades on the PowerSchool Parent Portal and talk with your child about their school experiences. Your interest and concern in their school progress will motivate them to do their best. Also, you are encouraged to maintain contact with your child’s teachers to establish a successful home/school connection.
Our goal is to challenge your child academically, assist them as they grow socially and emotionally, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving. As the instructional leader of Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School I will continuously work with my staff toward high academic achievement for all students regardless of disability, race, socioeconomic background or academic level. We are committed to the goal of authentic and rigorous instruction aligned with the Common Core Standards for all children to enable them to compete in our competitive global society. Students will be encouraged to display good character and to make good choices that will result in successful outcomes. We look forward to each school day being filled with enriching activities and learning experiences that will help each CNH student SHINE!
Our school learning community is strengthened by our partnerships. The active participation of students, staff, families, and community organizations are essential for our continued success. I encourage you all to be active in our PTO.
I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year to provide a productive and safe learning environment that supports student success. Again, Welcome to Capt. Nathan Hale School and thank you for visiting our website!
